Where to find your local 2017 Avalanche Workshop

Last season was awesome! Nearly every part of North America had huge storms dumping feet of snow and opening terrain that hasn’t been ridden in years. The excitement from last winter has transitioned to this season and people are frothing at the mouth to get back out there. Your body might be ready, but how do you get your head back in the backcountry mentality?

Fortunately, the avalanche community understands this temptation and has now introduced an avalanche workshop to help get our heads’ right before we venture into the unknown. AIARE education and continuous practice always adds to our preparation, but to help us all get started, here are a few of the more popular safety workshops happening across North America.
