Little White Salmon Race 2025

The not so little White Salmon River might be a tributary of the larger more well-known Columbia River but in kayaking circles this is THE river to hit in the Pacific Northwest. Few runs anywhere in North America have as many high quality rapids and falls combined with such a long season. This “creek” almost always has enough water to run, which is very unusual for a creek that is so small and so steep. For those who have the skills, the Little White really shouldn’t be missed. With such a star-studded run it makes sense that every year one of the most exciting events happens on this rolling river of whitewater called the Little White Salmon Race.

In the 2025 edition it will once again bring the Columbia Gorge paddling community together and showcase some of the world’s top paddlers…. on one of the world’s most storied rivers. Look below to see the full schedule:

Saturday, April 19th
Format (based on past years)
Time Trial / Slalom – Depending on the water levels, a time trial / slalom event will be held in conjunction with the extreme race. This will be announced at the Registration.
Extreme Race -This is the MAIN Little White Race! There will be singles and team categories. The race will be held on a section of the Little White that will be determined at the competitors meeting.
