DESCRIPTION:The NW Cup (short for Northwest Cup) is hands down one of our favorite mountain bike racing series in the US. The sixth stop of the downhill race series takes place at the renowned Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort\, a natural fit and easy addition to the Cup. Mt. Bachelor Resort offers an extensive network of trails for riders of all skill levels. Paired with the vibrant mountain town of Bend\, it creates an ideal destination that racers and their families can enjoy both on and off the bike. \n \nNW Cup Summit at Mt. Bachelor 2026- Event Schedule\n(Event schedule subject to change – this is purely based on past years) \nFriday\nRegistration is from 12:00pm to 5:00pm\nTraining/Race is 2:00pm to 6:00pm – all categories \nSaturday\nRegistration from 7:30am to 3:00pm.\nTraining/Race: 8:00am to 11:00am for CAT II & Cat III\, 11:00am to 2:30pm for PRO & Cat I \nSunday\nRegistration from 7:00am to 7:15am.\nTraining 8:00am to 9:00am – one run only.\n9:30am – Racer meeting at the finish. 10:15am\nSeeding Run for JR/CAT 1 & PRO. 10:45am Start CAT III followed by all other categories!

SUMMARY:Selco Pole Pedal Paddle - Bend 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Selco Pole Pedal Paddle is the largest of all the PPP events in North America and maybe the world! You can do it all yourself or be part of a team (or pair). Bend\, Oregon invites you to take part in the festivities and enjoy Central Oregon. \n \nThe six categories within the event are: \n1 Alpine Ski\nThis leg starts at the top of Mt. Bachelor’s Red Chair\, sprinting uphill then skiing down the LeeWay run. \n2 Cross-Country Ski\nThe XC is an 8 km skate ski and goes to Mt. Bachelor’s Nordic Lodge parking area. \n3 Bike\nBiking consists of a 22 mile beautiful ride into Bend along Century Drive. \n \n4 Run\nThis leg is a 5 mile\, single track trail run along the Deschutes River and starts at the Athletic Club. \n5 Canoe/Kayak\nThe water portion goes upstream\, then downstream\, then upstream again. \n6 Sprint\nThe sprint goes under the Columbia Bridge and finishes the race at the arena in Les Schwab Amphitheater. \nIf you are anywhere near the Pacific Northwest we urge you to stop by have a local micro beer from one of the many amazing breweries and cheer these people on. DESCRIPTION:Mt. Bachelor holds this one-of-a-kind event inspired by none other than legendary surfer and Mt. Bachelor Ambassador\, Gerry Lopez – who is the event host! This snowboard only event introduces the idea of applying the surf style to Mt. Bachelor ski resort. If you’ve ever ridden Mt. Bachelor you’ll notice that the topography and weather lends itself to give you that feeling of riding a wave instead of the normal terrain you’d see at other mountains. \nGerry Lopez Big Wave Challenge 2026 Event Details\n\nAll the money is that paid through registration will benefit Pat Malendowski\nOpen division winners take home a custom Gerry Lopez surfboard and one week at the Volcom Pipe House!\nThe Big Wave Challenge will be accompanied by a luau with traditional luau cuisine along with live music featuring Bend’s local Hawaiian musician\, Bill Keale. Spread the aloha love and come dressed in luau attire!\nOther amazing prizes offered in the raffle following the awards ceremony!\n\nDivisions\n“Kane” (Men’s open division)\n“Wahine” (Women’s open division)\n“Keiki” (Groms 16 & under division)\n“Makule” (40 & over division)\nPro-surfer division (exhibition only) \nEvent Schedule\nThis year they’re running things like a true surf competition and waiting for the swell to decide the competition day.
