It’s only early November but ski areas all around North America are beginning to open. From A-Basin in Colorado to Mount Rose in Lake Tahoe the snowmakers are working hard to get a trail or two covered in the white stuff. What if you want to shred the REAL stuff? Then you don’t need to look any further than Lookout Pass in Idaho. Starting today, they’re opening with ma’ naturals snow. Yup, that’s right… FRESH POW!

Lookout Pass Opens 2017-18 season with MULTIPLE TRAILS!

Lookout Pass Opens 2017As we talked about this summer Lookout is doubling their terrain this season and now they’re one of the first to offer skiers & snowboarders powder shots!! With chairlift #1 & #4 turning you’ll be able to access the following:

Green Trails:

Grub Steak, Huckelberry Ridge, Success

Blue Trails:

Black Bear, Golden Eagle, Silver, Gold, Quicksilver, Bonanza

AND… last but not least they’ve already received 9″ on Nov. 1st. and they’re expecting another TWO FEET of SNOW over the next few days.

How much?

Lookout Pass understands that the resort isn’t fully open and for those that don’t have a season pass the rates for this weekend are:

$30 Adults, Military & College

$20 Juniors & Sr. ages 62-79

FREE for kids 6 & under or Seniors 80+

Of course it’s early season which means there will be thin spots and obstacles, but who cares? It’s November 4th and you can ski some real snow!
