Years ago our friend Sean recommended this one-of-a-kind spot in Old Town Bend. What began as a bike shop serving beer and coffee and known as Crow’s Feet Commons has grown into a true community hub, now known as The Commons Café and Taproom. Right next door is a large outdoor space where a stage goes up in the summer for live music.

The first thing that grabs your attention is the building itself. Housed in one of Bend’s oldest craftsman bungalows and the last one standing east of Mirror Pond, it’s a beauty you have to see in person. The bike shop has moved across the street after business boomed, but the café has plenty of charm on its own. With creaky floors, exposed beams, and rich lumber details, it feels like a classic New England space. From the windows, you can sip a cappuccino while watching Mirror Pond and reflecting on your day’s adventures.
