Here and Now… Winter is almost here!

Lake Tahoe just had one of the wettest Octobers on record even more than the famed snow-tastic 2010-11 season.  To celebrate the beginning of the season in South Lake Tahoe, we at Local Freshies® decided to put on a fun little get-together with a couple hundred of our closest friends!  In association with 4Frnt Skis, we’re announcing the 1^st stop of our Tahoe Film Tour 2016.

 

Who is 4Frnt?

We are all about supporting brands that manufacture 4 Locals by Locals and 4Frnt is a great example of this.  A number of their ski lines are produced in their famed “White Room” facility in Salt Lake City.

Here and Now

4Frnt has just released their 6^th film highlighting that in a world where nearly everyone’s head is buried in a mobile device, our friendships and interactions between human beings are dwindling away. It’s up to us to change that and interact with each other by living in the HERE and NOW!

The film showcases skiing from Eric Hjorleifson, David Wise, Wiley Miller, Thayne Rich and Cam Riley with their friends as they escape to the outdoors.

Bonus Feature – Tahoe: The Daily Routine

After four dry winters and negative press from a few of our favorite ski/snowboard magazines, many categorized Lake Tahoe as “dead.”  We at Local Freshies® thought it was a perfect opportunity to make a short film highlighting the local businesses that give Lake Tahoe its flavor and show its culture is alive and well!

 

At the events there will be swag, a raffle and much, much more. Come hungry and thirsty! Grab a bite to eat before or during the show and wash it down with a cold one!
