Expect the unexpected when it comes to Absinthe. Although they didn’t release a film last year… we know a few things. #1 You never know with Absinthe. #2 it’s going to be worth the wait. And sure enough it is! For 2022 Absinthe’s movie is called “La Zone” in honor of Europe’s classic French-Swiss border area called “Le Col de Cou.” For David Vladyka and a handful of snowboarders it was known as “La Zone.” This was done as an attempt to safeguard a pristine territory for the Absinthe crew. Two decades later Absinthe will release a documentary about this area and why it is so important for snowboarding.
