When I hear the words “all inclusive”, the first thing that comes to mind are places in Mexico or the Caribbean. Sure, that’s fine for those who want to escape the cold weather during winter but what about the rest of us who want to escape the “heat” of summer. Are there all-inclusive resorts for summer fun in the mountains of North America? The answer is yes! Here’s a few of our favorite all inclusive mountain vacation destinations from luxurious to truly remote getaways.
The Resort At Paws Up
Greenough, Montana
Montana is home to quite a few exclusive resorts such as the Yellowstone Club. Even if you don’t have a cool million to join, you can still appreciate the privacy and luxury by heading to one of Montana’s premier all inclusive resorts – Paws Up. Located just a little more than half an hour northeast of Missoula, you’ll find 37,000 acres to help reconnect you to nature. Situated on a working ranch, you’ll have your choice of one to three bedroom cabins to stay in. Cast a fly in sparkling waters to eager trout. Hop on a steed for an hour, a day, or a week and explore the same land Lewis & Clark swooned over. Or just lose yourself soaking in a world-class spa.
Twin Farms
Barnard, Vermont
While Killington’s party scene is legendary, just to the east in the cozy town of Barnard you’ll find an oasis from the chaos of daily life – Twin Farms. Located on 300 acres of serenity and beauty of the Green Mountains, you’ll find the ultimate Foodie’s Mecca. It’s so good that Reader’s Digest voted it the BEST adults-only, all-inclusive resort for foodies. Each day, world-class chef Nathan Rich crafts three farm-to-table meals including snacks for your daily adventures. If that isn’t enough, Nathan and his team develop new menus daily based on Vermont’s finest products which includes items grown on the property itself. Daily adventures feature unique experiences like a bee tour to the summer rituals of swimming and bike cruises.
Dunton Hot Springs
Dunton, Colorado (Near Telluride)
Learn more about Dunton Hot Springs
This place is definitely on our personal bucket list. Located deep in the San Juan Mountains past the town of Telluride is a ghost town named Dunton. Now revived and converted into an all-inclusive resort, the town is filled with perfectly restored cabins. Since every cabin was hand-built, each has its own charm and feel. It gives you a chance to reconnect with nature in comfort and yet pull away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Soak your weary bones in the bathhouse or better yet the outdoor springs surrounded by wildflowers.
Spruce Hill Summer Resort & Spa
108 Mile Ranch, British Columbia
A true destination resort situated deep in the Cariboo Mountain range, Spruce Hill offers you an opportunity to improve yourself AND relax at an affordable price. Located on a ranch with over 20,000 acres of wilderness, you’ll really feel the peace and serenity you need. While it offers all-inclusive packages, their approach is to give you a menu of items to select from, making for the biggest bargain and yet at the same time an affordable trip.
Absolutely beautiful. And on a smaller local (Ottawa/Gatineau) note, there is now Gaia Wellness Retreat – http://www.gaiawellnessretreat.com

I am interested in a hiking/wellness vacation between the dates of March 27 – April 5th. Are you offering anything during that time?
Hey John,
You’ll have to reach out directly to these vacation spas to find out. Good luck!
