Wilmington Whiteface 2025
June 8

A recreational paradise of high rocky summits and breathtaking vistas — both of which factor into the sadistic mountain bike race known as the Wilmington Whiteface 100K. Where Olympic heroes once skied down the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies, you will face a decidedly different direction. Straight up. Good luck with all that.
What To Expect
The race starts and finishes at Preston Memorial Field, featuring a mix of rugged backcountry roads, stretches of flowing and smooth singletrack, and plenty of climbing. Explore Jeep roads near Jay and Saddleback mountains, along with technical stretches of singletrack at Hardy Road Trails, Blueberry Hills trails, and the Flume Trail Mountain.
Uphill
If that wasn’t enough the day before is the Whiteface Uphill Bike Race. The race climbs over 3,500 feet over 8 miles up the scenic Whiteface Mountain Veterans Memorial Highway to the top of New York’s 5th highest peak for a 360° panoramic view of the Adirondacks, New England and Canada.
