The guys at Moment Ski Co. know how to put on a premier!
Upon entering the back lot of the Moment Ski Company factory the energy built as soon as you made it through the gates. A DJ was pumpin’ some funky tunes and the Lagunitas was flowing. Several vendors such as Arcade Belts, Outdoor Technology, Nature’s Bakery and 25th Hour Clothing were present giving away swag and featuring very high quality local products, but the reason for the showing was to raise money to support the Holland Project.
If you’re not familiar with this organization please check them out and show your support. Holland Project is a volunteer-based, youth-driven, non-profit organization that produces live music, arts, and workshop experiences for people of all ages, with a focus on teens and young adults.
The ambassadors, Clark and Garrett, from last nights event were well spoken, professional and have a bright future. They were making customized buttons and selling one of a kind t-shirts to help support the Holland Project so the organization can further assist youth to pursue their dreams of succeeding in the arts. Well done guys!
On to the premier of Level 1 Productions new film “Less”
After checking out the vendors and knocking back a few Lagunitas the crowd gathered in anticipation of the show. It never ceases to amaze me at the level of talent displayed by these athletes. It seems as if imagination is the only limiting factor. Whether the trick was a success or a rude scorpion/ face-plant combo the skiers in Level 1 Productions film “Less” never hesitated to go again. Fear is obviously not in their vocabulary! This film was a great display of skill, which showcased a bunch of highly talented Northern Nevada and Nor Cal local skiers. Needless to say Moment Ski Company has to be happy with the strong stable of capable skiers they sponsor. They put on a great show and the audience was definitely pleased. When you get a chance make sure you take time to check out “Less”. It won’t disappoint.
