It’s funny how much attention snowboarders give to their board shape, but how little thought is put into snowboard boots. After all, boots are the ONLY connection between you and your board. Sure, bindings can cover some flaws, but you still feel everything through your boots and engage those turns with them. Since the Remind insoles have already been a game changer for our everyday shoes and nearly every outdoor activity, we decided to give the Remind Solution Liners a try. Here’s our review of the Remind Solution Liners.

Verdict

The price is a bit steep, but I have to admit, they do bring a level of performance I wasn’t expecting. It felt like I was more connected to my turns, and locking into carves was way easier. Are they worth the extra cash? It depends. If you struggle with heel lift, back pain, or just want to upgrade your current boots—or breathe new life into an old pair—the Remind Solution Liners are definitely the answer. Plus, they come with their Remedy insoles, which are $70 on their own.

Remind is Here to Help Combat Pain

Skiers spend a TON of time and money getting their boots dialed in—custom footbeds, visits to boot fitters, you name it. There’s a good reason for that: hard boots can be painful if they don’t fit right. For snowboarders, though, it’s been more of a “whatever you’ve got” situation, thanks to soft boots being the norm. The insole, which is often the cheapest part of the boot, is usually the most important—it’s the shock absorber, yet it’s typically a thin, flimsy piece. Working alongside pros, Remind has developed insoles specifically designed for activities like snowboarding, skateboarding, and mountain biking. Building on that foundation, the Remind Solution Boot Liner is their next step in leveling up your boot game.

What I Love About Them

I’ll be upfront—I’m a HUGE fan of my Burton Ion Boots and their Life Liner. They fit perfectly and gave me what I thought was a solid connection to the board… until I swapped in the Remind Solution Boot Liner. After 60+ days (and counting) on the snow, I didn’t realize just how much my liners had softened. Slipping the Remind liner into my boots felt like I was stepping into a brand-new pair! It didn’t take long for me to notice the difference, especially the added confidence when carving on icy conditions. The Atmos Foam isn’t just marketing fluff; it really does reduce impact, especially when you’re tackling tough terrain like moguls.

What I Don’t

I’ll admit, I was a bit hesitant when I first slipped them on. They’re narrower than my Burton liners, and the added stiffness made them a bit tricky to get on. But after riding with them, I realized that Burton’s liners—including the Life Liner—feel like a plush leather seat in a Mercedes Benz, while the Remind Solution Liner is more like a Sparco seat—designed with performance in mind.

Another thing I didn’t love was the bulky drawstring rope, which felt too big for the liner and kind of duplicated the lacing system already sewn into the Burton Ion boots. Having three different lacing systems at the top of the boot made it a real challenge to get my Trew Capow Bibs over the boots.

Who are These For

Mid-level to budget boots don’t exactly come with a lot of extras, like internal lacing systems or high-quality liners. If you’re rocking something like the Burton Moto or Ruler and want to step up your support and performance, these liners are a solid upgrade. They’re also a great option for anyone dealing with back issues—while they might not solve everything, they’ll definitely provide a lot more support than the stock liners that come with most boots.
