Psicobloc Open 2023

The Psicobloc Open draws star athletes from around the world. From Maui or Portugal, athletes descend upon Montreal to compete at the beautiful Parc Jean-Drapeau Aquatic Complex. To learn more about the history and a few options if you can’t make it check out our Psicobloc Masters Series article.

Psicobloc Open Event Schedule

Qualifier – Thursday

The fastest competitors from each gender in Qualifiers will pass through to the “seeding” round with the invited climbers at the  Parc Jean-Drapeau Aquatic Complex the next day to compete against the pros. All participants of the Seeding round will have a guaranteed place in the Psicobloc main event.

Seeding – Friday

Competitors will face each other to determine who they will be facing in the opening round of Thursday’s finals. This event is closed to the public.

Main Event – Saturday & Sunday

Welcome to the BIG show. Watch the top 24 men and the top 24 women go head-to-head in a dual climbing format while competing for a $20,000 cash purse.
