Volcom – Snowboard Movie Premiere – Encinitas (L.A.) – Sofia

I might be showing my age, but I remember spotting “The Stone” at our local skateboard and snowboard shop back in high school. A brand that did things a little differently and had a more punk-like edge to it than other brands such as Burton. While their clothing has always been their staple, their films—such as “Subjekt Haakonsen” and “Mr. Plant“—stand out as different than the rest and yet uniquely snowboarding at its core. For this year the film coming out is “SOFIA” a story of the half-day ticket. I KNOW it will be different. Beautiful and yet as they say “true to this.”
